Safe and secure office space (with parking!)

Along Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard, it could cost you a cool million to purchase a single parking bay. In De Waterkant, nearer to the CBD, prices are fast approaching R600,000. These are eyewatering figures if you consider they’re for parking bays – not habitable property. Workers in the Cape Town city centre have long had to pay a premium for parking, even if they still had to walk several blocks to work. And now, with the desirability of office space in the CBD on the rise again, it’s becoming even more difficult to secure sufficient parking.

This is what makes the office space at the Amdec Group’s newest Cape Town property, The Yacht Club, stand out. Not only is it part of a large, brand-new building, but The Yacht Club Office Suites also sit atop two levels of basement parking with more than 600 bays in total, including bicycle and motorcycle bays. The size of the space you require is up to you, but there is a total of 6,000m2 to choose from, spanning two floors of this new development located right at the water’s edge in the Roggebaai Canal precinct, behind the CTICC, near the entrance to the V&A Waterfront.

It’s rare to be able to park so close to work and be able to depend upon such high levels of security. Because that’s the other thing that sets The Yacht Club Office Suites apart from most other commercial properties in Cape Town – the state-of-the-art security that protects every square metre of the site.

The measures that keep people and property safe within the area, include CCTV, 24/7 foot patrols, and a centralised control room that monitors the entire precinct. A high-end biometric access system is also being installed. These give both employers and employees peace of mind and the confidence of knowing that they are as safe as can be. The same goes for visitors and guests, and the on-site hotel – Africa’s first AC Hotel by Marriott.

It is exceptionally convenient having the hotel – with all its meeting and conferencing facilities, plus dining options – so close by. You can walk to the hotel The Yacht Club Office Suites at any time of day or night and feel safe and secure.

An office at The Yacht Club is good for people and good for business.
